Medication can be an essential tool for managing the symptoms of mental health conditions, but it is just one piece of the puzzle. It’s important to understand that medication is not always necessary, nor is it the best option for everyone. When it is prescribed, the goal is always to respect your unique needs, beliefs, and preferences, creating a treatment plan that works for you.

While medication can be effective in alleviating symptoms, it’s not a "one-size-fits-all" solution. Some individuals may only need medications temporarily, while others might require long-term use. The type of medication prescribed depends on your specific condition, symptoms, and overall treatment plan.

I believe in a conservative approach to medication management. This means I strive to prescribe the least number of medications at the lowest effective doses to help you manage your symptoms. The goal is always to balance efficacy with minimizing side effects, while considering alternative treatments where appropriate.

Medication management follow up appointments are typically brief, lasting about 10 to 20 minutes. During these sessions, we’ll check in on how you’re feeling, assess the effectiveness of your current medications, and make any necessary adjustments. The frequency of these follow-ups depends on the type of medication you’re taking, your progress, and how well you’re functioning. We’ll work together to ensure your treatment plan evolves with your needs.

What Clients Are Saying

Saw Meaza at Comprehensive and absolutely loved her. She was very personal. Meaza did not rush through appointments, she was very kind, and always made me feel comfortable. Would definitely see her again if needed.
